We all know how important it is for our personal wellbeing to experience new adventures and make new friends. Tea-cup Cottage has a range of exciting programs for both children and adults that are aimed at exploring new skills while having a whole lot of fun.
THE CUBBY CLUB
Have you ever wanted to be a part of an exclusive club where you can learn a thing or two while having fun? The Cubby Club is a free Saturday morning program proudly funded by the Playlist Group. Held every Saturday from 9am-midday during school term, every session begins with music therapy with a professional music therapist. Each weekend features a different theme with activities ranging from sensory play to water play and there are regular special guests such as Queensland Fire and Rescue and Queensland Police. The club has a limit of eight children and once you become a Cubby Club member, you’ll always be a Cubby Club Kid.
CUBBY CLUB HOLIDAY PROGRAM
Held during the school holidays, the Cubby Club Holiday Program offers a new adventure every day, exploring all that Brisbane has to offer. This fun program allows participants to socially interact with children for all walks of life within the community. The program runs Monday to Friday from 9am-3pm within the community and at The Cubby House Children’s Respite.
Once you’re a Cubby Club kid you’re in the Clubhouse! Due to popular demand, The Cubby Club’s previous members can now enjoy all that The Cubby Club has to offer at Clubhouse. This exclusive program runs every Saturday during school term from 12.30pm-3.30pm.
BLUE TONGUE ADVENTURE SERVICE
An adventurous life is a life worth living. The Blue Tongue Adventure Service caters for young adults with a disability under the age of 25 and wanting to explore all that life has to offer. We deliver a wide range of activities from community access to social interaction. Our goal is to teach life skills with every activity that we do so that participants can live an independent life as much as possible. The Blue Tongue Adventure Service runs Monday to Friday from 9am-3pm.
