Tea-cup Cottage provides a range of services to help people living with a disability to maintain their independence by enabling them to live in their own home.
Support is tailored to the person’s life goals and we focus on areas that will create independence, growth, community inclusion and enable them to achieve their goals.
The level of support that is provided is for a fixed number of hours per day and days per week, with varying ratios depending on the specific in-home service being provided.
Our focus is to provide a high level of quality support to people who do not require full time assistance.
Common services available include:
- Domestic support - providing help for people with disabilities to maintain their home (e.g. laundry, cleaning, cooking) within acceptable community standards.
- Personal care - depending upon individual circumstances, support will be provided to meet identified personal needs and goals.
- Community network support - offering people the support they need to live in their local community and develop their personal networks and friendships.
- Life skills development - supporting people to live independently in their community by focusing on the development of their life skills.
